We currently offer an extensive range from the following departments online: Womenswear, Menswear, Tammy, Childrenswear, Homeware, Wedding, Lingerie, Babywear, made to order Curtains and blinds, Gifts and Gift Vouchers.

How do I pay for my order?

You can pay by Bhs MasterCard, Visa credit, UK Visa debit, UK Visa Electron, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express, Solo and PayPal.

Your credit / debit card will be charged when you submit your order on the website.

We are unable to accept payment from store cards part of the Seven Network, including Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Outfit, Topman, Topshop and Wallis.

Will I receive loyalty points by shopping online?

When using your Bhs MasterCard online you will receive loyalty points. The Choice Card cannot be used online; therefore Choice loyalty points cannot be awarded.

How many points do I earn on my shopping?

When you use your Bhs MasterCard online at bhs.co.uk you will receive 5 points for every £1 you spend.

How can I obtain VAT tax invoices?

How do I place an order to be collected in store?

1. Add your item to your shopping basket as normal (the majority of items are available for Order & Collect in store. If you have selected item(s) which are not available then this option will not be shown in the checkout page.

2. At the checkout select ‘your preferred Bhs store’ and choose a store from the dropdown list.

3. Enter your details and complete the secure online payment.

4. Print the confirmation page and make a note of your order number.

5. Bring your order confirmation page to the store you have chosen and collect your delivery usually from the Customer Service area of the store. Alternatively, you can ask a member of our team to help you with your order.

6. Please bring your order number and one of the following forms of ID: driving licence, passport, pass card and a proof of address. This is required to ensure that all items are supplied to the correct person and in the case of age-restricted items such as alcohol and knives, that we comply with the law.

What items on the website are available for Order & Collect In Store?

The majority of items are available for Order & Collect (some furniture items are not). If you have selected an item which is not available then this option will not be shown in the checkout page.

How much does the Order & Collect In Store service cost?

The cost for this service is £3.95 - or FREE when you spend £100 or more (applies to deliveries sent to stores only).

When do you charge me for my Order & Collect In Store order?

Payment will be taken when your goods have been despatched to your chosen Bhs store. No payment for your order placed online will be taken in the store.

When can I collect my order?

We will aim to get your order sent to the store within 7 days - or earlier if at all possible. Most stores we deliver to twice a week however in some cases it can take a little longer. We minimise our deliveries to store where necessary to help save cost and the environment. If after 10 days following notification to you your order has not been collected and you cannot be contacted we reserve the right to return it to our warehouse or make the products available in store for other customers and you will be refunded the value of the items.

Where do I go in store to collect my order?

Your order will be available for collection usually from the Customer Service area of the store. Alternatively, you can ask a member of our team to help you with your order.

Do I need to bring any form of identification with me when I collect my order?

Yes, please bring a copy of the order confirmation page into store together with a suitable form of ID with photo e.g. driving licence, passport or pass card, and proof of your home address. This is required to ensure that all items are supplied to the correct person and in the case of age-restricted items such as alcohol and knives, that we comply with the law.

For security if you are unable to collect the parcel, the person collecting will need to supply the order number, provide identification, and sign for the parcel.

What areas do you deliver to?

Delivery can only be made to UK addresses excluding P.O. Boxes. Unfortunately at this time we cannot take orders for delivery to British Forces Post Offices (BFPO), The Channel Islands (GY and JE), International addresses and the Republic of Ireland.

We reserve the right to change the areas to which we deliver without notice.

How soon is my order delivered to my home address?

Delivery Option Price Timings
Standard £3.95 Delivery within three working days after date of order being placed on the website. Working days are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm inclusive, excluding Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays.
Express £4.95 If the order is placed on the website before 12:00 noon then delivery will be made on the next working day; if placed 12:01or later it will be on the second working day. Working days are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm inclusive, excluding Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays.

Large items such as furniture have a £25 delivery charge and if your order is above £100 standard delivery is free. The charges will be displayed on the order page before payment is requested. This time frame is not guaranteed and subject to availability. Some furniture items may take longer and you will be notified when placing the order. What happens if I am not at home?

In order to make sure you receive your goods as soon as possible, if you are not at home when we try to deliver we might leave your parcel with one of your neighbours. If we do this we will leave a card stating where the parcel has been left. Please note that any deliveries containing age restricted products (e.g. alcohol or knives) must be delivered to the credit/debit card holder’s address and have to be signed for by an adult.

In case we can not reach you or your neighbours to receive your parcel we will leave a card in your letterbox to notify you that we tried to deliver your parcel. Please follow the instructions on the card to schedule a delivery day. You will find the contact details on the card. A second delivery attempt will be made the next working day or you can contact our depot to schedule a delivery day. You will find the contact details on the notification card.

What is the refund policy?

We guarantee to refund any item you are not completely happy with when you return it to us within 28 days of receipt.

For Furniture returns this must be coordinated by the Furniture after sales team. They can be contacted direct on 0845 196 0000

Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment and will be processed within seven days of receipt of the goods at Bhs Premises. This means the credit to a payment card may take up to ten working days from receipt of goods.

Refunds on returns are subject to goods being returned in saleable condition or in the event of faulty goods – subject to inspection and agreement of Bhs.

Art of Elegance by Elizabeth Emanuel

The Art of Elegance Elizabeth Emanuel wedding dresses can only be returned to the Art of Elegance Elizabeth Emanuel stocked stores and www.bhs.co.uk.

In order to be eligible for a refund the following is required:
1. The dresses must not have been worn
2. The security seal must be in place
3. Swing tickets must be attached to the dresses
4. The dresses must be returned in the Art of Elegance shroud
5. The dresses must be returned in the gift box, complete with the Art of Elegance tissue.

Can I return goods to a Bhs Store?

Yes, for your convenience, you can go to your nearest Bhs store with your returns within 28 days of receipt. Please ensure that you take your invoice with you as your proof of purchase (not the packing list enclosed in the parcel). You will have received your invoice in PDF format with the email confirming your order. If you cannot find your invoice please call our Customer Service department on 0845 196 0000 to obtain a copy before you go to the store to return your purchase.

If you are returning goods because they are faulty we will refund the delivery charge but only if you have your invoice with you. If you do not have your invoice with you we will not refund the delivery charge and your refund will be made in the form of credit vouchers that can only be redeemed in a Bhs store against a future purchase. In this case the value of the refund will be the current resale price of the goods being returned even if you actually paid a higher price.

Can I return goods to you by courier?

You should telephone Bhs customer services on 0845 196 0000 to arrange for collection. You can choose a date at your convenience. Our courier collects at a time between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Unfortunately we are unable to give you a specific delivery window. Please pack your product carefully, preferably in the original box with the original packaging. If this is not possible, please pack to equivalent standards to ensure the safe transit of the goods. Please also include the returns form that has been included in the package in which your order was delivered. It is vital that you re-address the outside of the parcel with the address on the top of the returns form.

You must contact customer services within seven working days after the products were delivered to you to arrange for their collection, and the products must be returned no later than 14 days after they were delivered to you.

There is no charge for using the couriered returns service.

Can I return goods by post?

If you wish to return any non furniture product purchased on our website, you can use our online returns centre within 28 days of receipt.

Please note, you will require a printer to produce the paperwork required at home for this service, but if you do not have this, please contact customer services on 0845 196 0000 who can raise a return on your behalf and post the paperwork to you.

From the returns centre you can search for any valid orders if you are not registered with us or use your order history view if you are registered to select an order and complete the online form to create your return. Once you have confirmed the items you wish to return and the reason for returning them you will be provided with links to print a returns advice note to include in your parcel and a return label to qualify for free delivery (links to these labels will also be emailed to you if you need to reprint them).

The value of the items to be refunded to you will be clearly highlighted while completing your return and will be the value per item minus any promotion discount that was applied when the product was originally purchased.

Please pack your product carefully, preferably in the original box with the original packaging. If this is not possible, please pack to equivalent standards to ensure the safe transit of the goods and take the parcel to your local post office ensuring you obtain proof of posting for each parcel returned.

On receipt at our warehouse, standard inspection checks will be carried out in conjunction with the reason specified on the return and once approved a refund to the original payment method will be issued. Please allow up to ten working days from receipt for this refund to be made.

Although there are no weight or size restrictions imposed for using this service, if the parcel is difficult to return via a post office, please contact customer services on 0845 196 0000 to arrange a courier collection. If you have any difficulty locating an order for return or have any other queries regarding the service, customer services will be able to assist on 0845 196 0000.

What if my goods are faulty? Can I return them to you?

If your item is faulty you can return it to us using our returns centre. The process is detailed in the “online returns centre” section.

We will only offer a refund on the delivery charge if all items are found to be faulty. When returning faulty goods in store, delivery charges are not refundable unless the online invoice showing the delivery charge barcode at the bottom right hand corner is produced.

We will always refund the cost of faulty goods subject to our inspection and agreement when we receive the goods. If we do not agree the goods are faulty we will contact you. Please allow up to 10 working days for a refund to be actioned.

How long is this season's wedding collection available in stores and online?

Our Spring/Summer wedding collection is usually in store from January to June every year. Our Autumn/Winter collection is usually in store from September/October to December every year. As certain items have limited availability we cannot guarantee that all lines will be available towards the end of the season - we therefore recommend buying them sooner rather than later.

Can my nearest store order online for me?

You can order from the following stores for delivery to store for collection or to your home address (subject to restrictions – please see delivery section 4.1 in our Terms and Conditions). This option is not available for furniture. We hope to increase this store list in the future.

If this was a single order then please place the item in its original packaging and return it to us via the original delivery method. If however the item was part of a larger order and you no longer have any suitable packaging then please feel free to return it to your nearest Bhs Store

How can I cancel my card?

The Bhs Gold Card and Bhs Everyone card is operated by GE Money. To cancel your card you will need to contact GE Money direct on 0871 522 5693.

How do I report it lost or stolen?

You will need to report this immediately to GE Money, our account card administrators. They can be contacted by calling 0871 522 5693.

Who do I call about a query on my store card?

The Bhs Gold Card and Bhs Everyone card is operated by GE Money. You will need to contact them direct on 0871 522 5693.

Can I use my store card on the internet?

We are sorry it is not possible at the moment to make any purchases online using a Bhs Gold Card.

Will I receive choice points by shopping online?

We are sorry we do not currently offer points to either Choice or Gold Card customers for online purchases.

Will I automatically get a new Bhs MasterCard when my Gold Card expires?

No. You will have to apply for the new Bhs MasterCard. Click here to apply. The reason for this is because your current card is issued by a different financial provider. We have changed to Barclaycard recently in order to give you better benefits now and in the future.

Do I have to apply today?

The sooner you apply, the sooner you could start to benefit from the new Bhs MasterCard.

When I apply for the Bhs MasterCard, will I automatically be accepted?

No. All applications will be subject to the standard credit card acceptance procedure, so we must make you aware that you are not guaranteed acceptance.

Will I receive the same credit limit?

It could be higher, the same or lower. Limits range from £250 to £10,000 and you will be advised once your application has been approved.

Are the benefits the same as my current card?

No – we feel they are much better than your current card as you’ll be able to earn points everywhere you shop as well as at Bhs. The rewards scheme is simple and the rates are extremely competitive.

If I don’t apply for the new Bhs MasterCard, will I still be invited to 20% off cardholder days?

No. As your current card will no longer be valid, you must apply and be approved for the Bhs MasterCard if you want to be invited to our exclusive 20% off event days.

What will happen to my Choice Points?

The Choice discount mechanic does not form part of the new offer and therefore any points balance will not be carried over. However, on the Bhs MasterCard, there will be double Bhs Reward Points on your first Bhs purchase and this will enable you to start building your new rewards balance.

What if I purchase something with my vouchers and want a refund?

We will refund in the form of a Bhs Gift Card.

How long will my Bhs MasterCard take to be delivered?

Applications should take about 3 weeks from the date we receive the application for processing. However, the total time from applying to customers activating their card cannot be guaranteed.

Do I need to cancel my existing GE account?

Yes, even if you move your balance to the Bhs MasterCard, you will need to contact GE Money to close your account on 0871 522 5693. Lines are open 8am-8pm, Monday to Saturday and 9am-5pm Sundays.

Can I apply for a Bhs MasterCard online?

Yes, simply visit bhs.co.uk/creditcard.

What happens if I keep a balance on my card after it’s expired?

You will continue to receive a monthly statement and will need to make payments until the balance is paid off. So it really does make sense to transfer your balances to the new Bhs Credit Card.

How secure is the new Bhs MasterCard?

Your Bhs MasterCard comes with an advanced protection system, Bhs Secure , that uses the most sophisticated technology to help combat credit card fraud. And that makes it one of the safest cards on the high street.

Can I transfer balances from my current card to the Bhs MasterCard?

Yes. Once you’ve received your Bhs MasterCard, we’ll send you details of how to do this. Don’t forget, you’ll benefit from 0% for 9 months (2.99% fee applies). So why not transfer all balances from other credit cards when you transfer the balance from your old GE card?

Distributor Take Back Scheme
