What is available to buy online?

We currently offer an extensive range from the following departments online: Womenswear, Menswear, tammy, Childrenswear, Homeware, Wedding and Gift Vouchers.

How do I pay for my order?

You can pay by Bhs Gold Card, Bhs Everyone Card, Visa credit, UK Visa debit, UK Visa Electron, JCB, Maestro, MasterCard, Solo and paypal.

We do not accept any cards where the address registered with the card issuer for the statement is outside the UK mainland.

Your credit / debit card will be charged when you submit your order on the website.

We are unable to accept payment from store cards part of the Seven Network, including Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Outfit, Topman, Topshop and Wallis.

Will I receive loyalty points by shopping online?

Loyalty points will be added to your account on all Gold Card and Everyone Card transactions. The Choice Card cannot be used online; therefore Choice loyalty points cannot be awarded.

Can I use my Bhs Everyone Mastercard loyalty vouchers?

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to allow for payment by Bhs Everyone Mastercard loyalty vouchers.

How many points do I earn on my shopping?

Please ask in store for details.

What areas do you deliver to?

Delivery can only be made to mainland UK addresses. We reserve the right to change the areas to which we deliver without notice.

To protect yourselves and us against online fraud your first order will be delivered to the address registered as the statement address for the card being used for payment. You will be given the choice of an alternative delivery address on any order after this time.

Is there a delivery charge?

Our standard three day delivery option is £3.50 for most goods. Large items such as furniture have a £25 delivery charge and if your orders is above £200 delivery is free. The charges will be displayed on the order page before payment is requested.

How soon is my order delivered?

We aim to deliver orders within 3 to 5 working days of the order being submitted on the website. Working days are defined as 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday inclusive and exclude Saturday, Sunday and all bank holidays. This time frame is not guaranteed. Some furniture items may take longer and you will be notified when placing the order.

What happens if I am not at home?

In order to make sure you receive your goods as soon as possible, if you are not at home when we try to deliver we might leave your parcel with one of your neighbours.

In case we can not reach you or your neighbours to receive your parcel we will leave a card in your mailbox to notify you that we tried to deliver your parcel. A second delivery attempt will be made the next working day or you can contact our depot to schedule a delivery day. You will find the contact details on the notification card.

What is the refund policy?

We guarantee to refund any item you are not completely happy with when you return it to us within 28 days of receipt.

Please note that for Wedding items these can only be returned to a Bhs Wedding Stockist store. For further details please click here.

For Furniture returns this must be coordinated by the Furniture after sales team. They can be contacted direct on 0845 196 0000

Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment and will be processed within seven days of receipt of the goods at Bhs Premises. This means the credit to a payment card may take up to ten working days from receipt of goods.

Refunds on returns are subject to goods being returned in saleable condition or in the event of faulty goods – subject to inspection and agreement of Bhs.

Art of Elegance by Elizabeth Emanuel

The Art of Elegance Elizabeth Emanuel wedding dresses can only be returned to the Art of Elegance Elizabeth Emanuel stocked stores and www.bhs.co.uk.

In order to be eligible for a refund the following is required:
1. The dresses must not have been worn
2. The security seal must be in place
3. Swing tickets must be attached to the dresses
4. The dresses must be returned in the Art of Elegance shroud
5. The dresses must be returned in the gift box, complete with the Art of Elegance tissue.

Can I return goods to a Bhs Store?

Yes, for your convenience, you can go to your nearest Bhs store with your returns within 28 days of receipt. Please ensure that you take your invoice with you as your proof of purchase (not the packing list enclosed in the parcel). You will have received your invoice in PDF format with the email confirming your order. If you cannot find your invoice please call our Customer Service department on 0845 196 0000 to obtain a copy before you go to the store to return your purchase.

If you are returning goods because they are faulty we will refund the delivery charge but only if you have your invoice with you. If you do not have your invoice with you we will not refund the delivery charge and your refund will be made in the form of credit vouchers that can only be redeemed in a Bhs store against a future purchase. In this case the value of the refund will be the current resale price of the goods being returned even if you actually paid a higher price.

Can I return goods to you by courier?

You should telephone Bhs customer services on 0845 196 0000 to arrange for collection. You can choose a date at your convenience. Dhl collects at a time between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Unfortunately we are unable to give you a specific delivery window. Please pack your product carefully, preferably in the original box with the original packaging. If this is not possible, please pack to equivalent standards to ensure the safe transit of the goods. Please also include the returns form that has been included in the package in which your order was delivered.

You must contact customer services within seven working days after the products were delivered to you to arrange for their collection, and the products must be returned no later than 14 days after they were delivered to you.

There is no charge for using the couriered returns service.

Can I return goods by post?

You should telephone Bhs customer service on 0845 196 0000 giving your name, address and the reference number from the invoice that you will have received by email. Please also state which products you want to return and help us improving our service by telling us the reason for your return.

Our customer service team will send you a free return label via email. Please pack your product carefully, preferably in the original box with the original packaging. If this is not possible, please pack to equivalent standards to ensure the safe transit of the goods. Please also include the returns form that has been included in the package in which your order was delivered. You can then drop off your return parcel at any post office, your mail room at work or any other drop-off point at your convenience. There is no need to wait in line, simply drop you package in the bag, FREE OF CHARGE.

You must contact customer services within seven working days after the products were delivered to you to obtain a free return label, and the products must be returned no later than 14 days after they were delivered to you.

What if my goods are faulty? Can I return them to you?

If your item is faulty you can return it to us using the same courier that delivered the goods or by returning them to us by post. The process is detailed in the "return by courier" or “return by post” section.

We will only offer a refund on the delivery charge if all items are found to be faulty. When returning faulty goods in store, delivery charges are not refundable unless the online invoice showing the delivery charge barcode at the bottom right hand corner is produced.

We will always refund the cost of faulty goods subject to our inspection and agreement when we receive the goods. If we do not agree the goods are faulty we will contact you. Please allow up to 10 working days for a refund to be actioned.

How can I get a Wedding Catalogue?

Our Autumn / Winter range is available to view online and in selected stores. Our new wedding catalogue will be launched in January 2008.

Can I collect an order that I place online from my nearest store?

We are sorry but we do not currently offer this service to our Wedding Customers. All orders will be delivered direct to the delivery address as stated on the order.

How long is this season's wedding collection available in stores and online?

Our wedding collection is usually in store from January to June every year. As certain items have limited availability we cannot guarantee that all lines will be available towards the end of the season - we therefore recommend buying them sooner rather than later.

Where can I purchase from the Bhs Furniture Range?

You can purchase Furniture from our online store. Alternatively a full range is available at our Bhs Home Stores. For a full list of these please visit our Store Finder page.

I want to apply for Interest free credit?

We are sorry but we cannot offer Interest Free Credit as a payment option for online purchases. However you can visit one of our Bhs Home Stores where you can apply for credit.

Can I make changes to my order?

If this was a single order then please place the item in its original packaging and return it to us via the original delivery method. If however the item was part of a larger order and you no longer have any suitable packaging then please feel free to return it to your nearest Bhs Store

Who do I call about a query on my store card?

Can I use my Bhs Gold Card card on the internet?

Yes, it is now possible to make purchases online at www.bhs.co.uk using a Bhs Gold Card.

Will I receive choice points by shopping online?

We are sorry we do not currently offer points to Choice customers for online purchases.
